Allana Ferguson bio
Allana played for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then was injured repeatedly to her knees that forced Allana on the sidelines. Allana returned to playing rugby league after several years. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and starred for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her game, regularly appearing on the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has also earned a teaching diploma. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three different sports including Rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and the union of rugby. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' most popular rugby player is forced to end her league career due to tearing her ACL four times. She had torn the ligament at the same knee when she was 15 17 and 20-years-old and, after a third tear it meant Ferguson's time was over. Ferguson played for JILLAROOS's team and had to retire earlier due to a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she was injured during training in November. She has been a face of women's Rugby League throughout the years.
